Our special guest Krist Novoselic (formerly of the groundbreaking rock band Nirvana) and FairVote Executive Director Rob Richie will be at Freewheel this Thursday evening May 8. They'll discuss FairVote's efforts to promote Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) which is not only on the ballot statewide in Maine this June, but also on the ballot in the city of Santa Clara. Menlo Park is also considering how to change their council elections. Learn how Redwood City could empower voters and make elections better.

FairVote is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1992 which is dedicated toward bringing RCV to American voters. Ranked choice voting makes democracy more fair and functional. It works in a variety of contexts. It's a simple change that can have a big impact. This event is intended to be a fundraiser for FairVote. Please bring your checkbook as we will be asking for your donations to the cause.
