Ranked Choice Voting Training for Volunteers and Organizers

This is a free hands-on training in San Francisco for those who want to better understand ranked choice voting (RCV), and join us in our efforts to educate voters about the importance of voting and the power to rank their vote!
This June, voters will be using RCV to elect the next San Francisco mayor -- we expect people's rankings will play a major role in the election. The good news is that San Francisco votes rank! In the 2011 mayoral race, 84.1% of voters ranked two or three different candidates. With RCV, San Francisco voters have greater choice and a stronger voice -- it also makes election results much more representative of the voting base.
The training will focus on how RCV works, what it takes to win under RCV, with examples of past elections and training exercises.
